- contents page consists of an image with the relevant page number on
- the title of the magazine is made clear on the contents page
- the issue number is stated on the contents page
- typically there is review of the current issue somewhere on the page
DOUBLE SPREAD
- the image on the double spread is large making it eyecatching towards the audience, usually taking up more than one side of the page
- typically there is a vague headline with a sentence underneath explaining more about the story before reaching the article
- a small logo/title of the magazine is put in the corner of each page to remind them of the magazine they are reading
